Happy Days Nursery is a purpose built annexe, attached to a large family house, placed in a quiet residential area. The Nursery offers 26 places per day, full time, for children aged 0 – 5 years. This environment offers a unique opportunity for the development of each individual child and their potential skills within a family atmosphere. To the rear of the Nursery there is a large enclosed garden containing both grassed and rubberised safety tarmac, where the children can safely enjoy learning through play.

Happy Days Nursery is situated close to Wythenshawe Hospital, Princess Parkway and the Motorway networks, ideally placed to access central and south Manchester. The Nursery is OFSTED approved and all our OFSTED Inspection reports can ba accessed via our website www.happydaysnursery-manchester.co.uk. We offer the National Education Grants for 2 and 3 year olds, and we use the Sure start framework “Early Years Foundation Stage”.

Established in 1989, Happy Days Nursery has been under the current Management since August 1995, and we offer the children a secure, loving environment in which they can grow, play and learn. Child safety and security is a high priority and is monitored and maintained with the use of CCTV and an audio/video front door release system.

We plan and implement programmers of work that are designed to develop fine manipulative skills, letter formation, reading recognition, number work, colour and shape recognition, and socialisation skills. This framework is built upon The Early Years Foundation Stage, Every Child Matters. However, it is a priority at Happy Days Nursery to make time for laughter, time for talk, time to listen, time to play, time to make-believe, and time for each child’s own needs, helping them to recognise the needs of other children and adults sharing their space.

Happy Days Nursery is open all year round, except for Bank Holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year, from Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.30.
